ZZZ News March 20: Shiyu Defense Reset & v2.7 "Nangong Yu" Pre-release Intel

Today’s Update: Shiyu Defense Phase 4 (March 20)

As of March 20, the Shiyu Defense cycle has refreshed for the final time in Version 2.6.

Seasonal Buff: The "Aetheric Resonance" effect is now active, significantly boosting Ether DMG and Anomaly Buildup Rate.

Meta Tips: Players are seeing high success rates with Aria in the current rotation. Her aerial combat style is perfect for bypassing the ground-based shockwaves of the "Rogue Melody" elites found in the higher floors.

v2.7 Spotlight: Nangong Yu, The Captain of Angels of Delusion

Set to debut on March 24, Nangong Yu is the centerpiece of the Version 2.7 update.

Unique Mechanic "Downbeat": Unlike traditional stunners, Nangong Yu scales her Impact through Anomaly Proficiency. She excels at extending an enemy's Stun window while simultaneously enabling teammates to prock "Disorder" effects more frequently.

Strategic Value: She is the first S-Rank Ether Stunner designed specifically to bridge the gap between Stun and Anomaly teams, making her a "must-have" for players investing in the future of the Anomaly Meta.

New Boss Intel: Black Wolf Romeul

The upcoming Black Wolf Romeul boss in 2.7 introduces the "Corruptive Barrier" mechanic.

The Challenge: While the barrier is active, Romeul gains massive Crit Resistance, punishing teams that rely solely on raw burst DMG.

The Counter: Strategic use of Elemental Anomalies is required to shatter the barrier. This emphasizes the importance of hybrid compositions heading into the April season.

v2.6 Wrap-up: Final Call for Aria and Limited Events

Aria Banner Countdown: The "Neon Angel" banner featuring Aria ends on March 23. If you need an Ether Anomaly powerhouse, this is your last window before the maintenance.

Event Reminder: The "Gravitational Storytime" event is nearing its conclusion. Ensure all movie recording milestones are met to secure the limited-edition namecard before the 2.7 patch update.
